Happy National AVID day from APHS AVID!
To celebrate today, weโre sharing a look at some of the things weโve been working on so far. Students have created AVID Success Plans, built relationships, planned fundraisers and advertisements, and started thinking about their college and career goals.
Weโve also had the opportunity to learn from some wonderful college and career professionals, including Mrs. Barrett, our APHS College & Career Coordinator, Eddie Ganzy from the University of Central Florida, and Southeastern University recruiter Jamison Lee.
This week, students also completed our โFilling My Jarโ project, reflecting on the people, experiences, goals, and little things that bring them joy and keep them motivated.
Weโre excited for all thatโs ahead this year!
